The objective:
Having an e-commerce site that allows customers to pay with different payment gateways available in Chile, as well as providing real-time discounts for their benefits and discounts from different insurers, as well as the upload and display of medical prescriptions for certain medications. All of this must be reported to the company's ERP (Odoo).
The challenge:
Everything must comply with government health regulations and patient protection. In order to obtain reimbursement amounts, the store must be connected via API with the different insurance plan systems. Logistics in Chile is complex due to its geography and therefore must be considered in shipping costs.
The results:
The store is integrated with the ODOO ERP system to synchronize products, prices, inventories, customers, orders, and product features. It also includes connections with insurance companies to process payment for prescriptions covered by their policies, as well as connections with other discount systems for users in the healthcare sector.
