The objective:
The main objective was to create a fully integrated virtual store with the ERP, in which every purchase order generated in the e-commerce platform would be automatically reflected in the administrative system, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the operation of the business.
The challenge:
The biggest challenge was communication with the ERP, as CONTPAQi Comercial is a desktop application hosted on the client's local server. This required a solution that allowed for the establishment of a reliable bridge between the local software and the online store, ensuring accurate real-time updates without compromising security or performance.
The results:
The solution was the development of a custom API along with a console application connector capable of communicating with the ERP's DLL. This architecture allowed: Periodically and automatically updating product information, prices, and stock in the online store. Processing e-commerce purchase orders to reflect them in the ERP in a recurring and reliable manner. Optimizing operational management by keeping both systems synchronized without manual intervention. With this implementation, Ferrelaminas TAP now has a robust, efficient virtual store aligned with its administrative system, ensuring smooth operations and a reliable purchasing experience for its customers.
