The objective:
The main objective was to create a virtual store fully integrated with the ERP, where each purchase order generated in the e-commerce would be automatically reflected in the administrative system, guaranteeing consistency and efficiency in the business operation.

The greatest challenge lay in the communication with the ERP, since CONTPAQi Comercial is a desktop application hosted on the client's local server. This required a solution that would establish a reliable bridge between the local software and the online store, ensuring accurate, real-time updates without compromising security or performance.

The solution was the development of a custom API along with a console application connector capable of communicating with the ERP's DLL. This architecture enabled: Periodic and automatic updates of product information, prices, and stock in the online store. Processing e-commerce purchase orders to reflect them in the ERP consistently and reliably. Optimizing operational management by keeping both systems synchronized without manual intervention. With this implementation, Ferrelaminas TAP now has a robust, efficient virtual store aligned with its administrative system, ensuring a smooth operation and a reliable shopping experience for its customers.
