The objective:
The objective was to develop a B2B store synchronized with the ERP CONTPAQi Comercial, which would manage customers, products, prices, and stock automatically. Likewise, it was sought that each order generated in the store would be reflected in the ERP and assigned to the corresponding warehouse, ensuring that the branches received efficient attention for each order.
The challenge:
The main challenge was to achieve effective communication with CONTPAQi Comercial, a desktop system hosted on the client's local server. Additionally, it was necessary to correctly assign each client to their specific warehouse and ensure that orders were registered in the ERP with the same accuracy for proper logistics management.
The results:
The solution was achieved through the integration of the official nopCommerce API along with the development of a console application connector capable of communicating with the ERP's DLL. This architecture allowed for: Periodic and automatic synchronization of customers, products, prices, and stock. Processing of orders in the ERP, assigning each order to the corresponding warehouse based on the branch. Recurring information exchange via API, ensuring that the data from the store and the ERP remained updated at all times. Thanks to this implementation, Benedetti's now has a robust, reliable B2B platform aligned with its administrative processes, which facilitates the management of orders from all its franchises and guarantees the operational efficiency of its commissary.
